Manuel Bello
Manuel is manager of the Information Systems Department at LATU. In this position, he is responsible for the network infrastructure, user support, software development and technical information areas of LATU. Manuel participated in the design of the project that founded INGENIO, the first business incubator in Uruguay, and since its constitution is part of its Steering Committtee. INGENIO is a technology business incubator built upon a partnership between LATU and ORT University Uruguay.
Manuel holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the Universidad de la República, in Uruguay. In the past twelve years he has participated in several national and international projects related to Internet, Internet II, networking and entrepreneurship development, and have given lectures on those matters in several countries. He is co-founder and member of the board of URUNOVA, the National Association of Business Incubators and Technology Parks.
