This is the main Reseach & Development funding mechanism of the EU. It runs from 2007-2013 and is doted with more than 50.5 billion EURO. It is divided into 4 sub-programmes:
COOPERATION: that supports research in trans-national cooperation, e.g. in the ICT programme. The ICT programme is the biggest sub-programme with a budget of about 9 billion EUR.
