Objective ICT-2011.10.1 EU-Brazil Research and Development cooperation
For the first time, a specific "coordinated call" between the EU and Brazil has been published, to tackle topics of mutual interest. While European partners have to submit a proposal according to the rules of EU Funding, the Brazilian partners need to submit a correlated proposal to the Brazilian authorities (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development).
The indicative budget for the call is EUR 5 million, and a similar budget for the call is expected from the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology. (Source: Cordis)
This topic is addressed in the ICT work programme 2011/12 pages 111, 112, 113 and 114. The call covers the following 4 subthemes:
a) Microelectronics/microsystems
b) Networked Monitoring and Control
c) Future Internet - experimental facilities
d) Future Internet - security
e) e-Infrastructures
More details and procedures about this join call can be found in the following presentation of Dr Jorge Pereira, European Commision DG INFSO.
